PairEmoji ("we", "our", or "the app") is an emoji matching game developed by Çağlar Öztürk. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.
Data We Collect
PairEmoji does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our own servers. All game settings, scores, statistics, and achievements are stored locally on your device and never sent to any server controlled by us.
Third-Party Services
The app integrates the following third-party services, each with their own data practices:
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements (unless you have purchased the Remove Ads option). AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- IP address
- General location (country / region level)
- App usage data related to ad interactions

Apple Game Center
PairEmoji uses Apple's Game Center service to provide optional global leaderboards. If you are signed in to Game Center, your game scores (Solo and Progressive modes) are submitted to Apple's servers so you can compete on global leaderboards. Game Center is operated entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's own privacy policy.
- Game Center sign-in is entirely optional
- No scores are sent if you are not signed in to Game Center
- We do not have access to your Game Center profile or Apple ID

Apple StoreKit (In-App Purchases)
If you choose to purchase the "Remove Ads" option, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or have access to any payment information. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
Local Data
The following data is stored only on your device, using Apple's standard UserDefaults:
- Game settings (emoji category, timer duration, etc.)
- High scores and game history (last 50 games)
- Achievement unlock status and dates
- Whether the Remove Ads purchase has been made
This data never leaves your device (except for scores submitted to Game Center as described above).
Children's Privacy
PairEmoji is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service listed above, please contact the respective service provider.
Data Retention
Since we do not collect any personal data ourselves, there is no personal data for us to retain. Local game data stored on your device can be deleted by uninstalling the app. Game Center data is managed through your Apple ID settings.
Your Rights
Since no personal data is collected or stored by us:
- You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
- You can manage or disable Game Center in Settings > Game Center
- You can delete all local app data by uninstalling the app
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the app evolves. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
